Specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery

After studying human medicine at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, I completed my

Specialist training at the Schön Klinik München Harlaching in the Department of Knee, Shoulder and Hip Joint Surgery and at the Klinikum Dritten Orden München Nymphenburg in the Department of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery.

After completing my specialist training, I was appointed senior physician at the Third Order Hospital and worked there for many years as a senior physician until I moved to Tenerife.

My areas of work included:

- The care of severely injured patients both pre-hospital as an emergency doctor and in-hospital in the emergency room and in the operating room.

- Surgical treatment of all injuries of the upper and lower extremities and spine with special expertise in minimally invasive and open treatment of severe pelvic and acetabular fractures.

- Endoprosthetic joint replacement

- The treatment of injuries and degenerative changes of the hand (e.g. fractures, tendon injuries, trigger finger, carpal tunnel syndrome, ganglia)

- Infiltration therapy of the spine (facet joints, periradicular infiltration)

In addition to patient care, I was particularly interested in the surgical training of assistants and specialists.

After fulfilling my family's dream of living by the sea on the island of eternal spring, I would now like to contribute my wealth of experience here in Tenerife.

Since November 2024, I have been working at the German Specialist Medical Center in Puerto de la Cruz.

In a modern medical environment, I can provide my patients with outpatient care according to German standards.

But even if an operation is necessary, I can care for my patients myself.

I was able to gain a strong partner in Clinica Quironsalud Vida in La Orotava. The clinic's equipment is state-of-the-art, and the atmosphere is friendly.

The processing of cost coverage with the German health insurance companies can also be organized and carried out directly by the clinic.

This allows my patients to concentrate fully on their recovery.

I am also available to my patients at short notice outside of office hours.
